The 5th Symposium on Medical Physics is following the very successful previous meetings that were held in Szczyrk, Ustroń and Wisła. These meetings have made a successful opportunity to bring together people interested in Medical Physics from universities, medical and industrial centers. On these Symposiums problems from different scientific disciplines e.g. Bioelektromagnetism, Biomedical Optics, Biophysical and Biochemical Measurement, Educational Aspects in Medical Physics, Medical Imaging and Computing, Medical Engineering, Physical Therapy, Radioprotection and Radiotherapy can be discussed.

We are working hard to prepare interesting and attractive scientific programme, which will live up to all participants expectations. The program will consist of invited lectures, as well as a large number of oral presentations and posters. Although it is mainly intended to be an international meeting, participants from all other regions are invited. We are looking forward to welcome you at the fifth Symposium on Medical Physics in Ustroń in 20 – 23 September 2006.
